COVID-19 PANDEMIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The coronavirus (COVID-19) is an ongoing concern for our communities. Like many small businesses affected by this situation, we are compassionately choosing to help stop the spread of this virus by not engaging in tree care as long as we remain under the governor’s order of shelter in place; with the one exception being any tree care emergency.
Where human life or property is compromised by a tree, we will surely rise to the essential occasion for our customers. Our staff is ready to provide service under that circumstance. As a small business owner, my budget plan had always included keeping operation funds in place for unforeseen circumstances. This is it. My short term goal is to continue to keep my staff on payroll in a limited capacity while using my saved up emergency operating funds.
In addition to working hard to be the best in meeting my customer’s tree care needs, the core of my business has always had safety at the center and it will be no different in this case; safety for my employees, safety for my loyal customers as well as new, safety for the community at large, with special concern for the elderly and immune-compromised, the weakest of our brothers and sisters. Safety will remain the lifeblood of my business, and with that said, I have chosen to temporarily halt my tree care operations until this order is lifted. Any previously scheduled work will be postponed. My crew and myself will be ready to get a jump out there just as soon as is safely possible.
We look forward to servicing your trees this spring and summer. I hope we will all “Spring” out of this lockdown with our health intact, some growth, and new perspectives on freedom.
